Scholarships

The Ohio Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (OAFCS) award scholarships every year to a student who has both academic ability and shows professional promise. Students are greatly needed in all professional areas of Family and Consumer Sciences. It is hoped that those who are highly suited for careers in this field will take advantage of this opportunity.

OAFCS Scholarship

will award one $1,000 scholarship to an undergrad or master’s student enrolled in ANY AREA of Family and Consumer Sciences (Fashion, Education, Interiors, Early Childhood, Nutrition, etc.)

Sharon V. McManus Endowment Scholarship

will be awarded to a student(s) who is enrolled in any Family and Consumer Sciences Education program (FCS Education, Teacher & Training, Early Childhood). This may include students participating in the Say Yes to FCS initiative.
